Wendy Trusler, artist

Website

When Big Sky Design first started creating WordPress-based website, it’s not surprising that the first clients were artists. We have a long relationship with the arts scene in Peterborough and WordPress is an ideal platform for artists who increasingly must update their own website in this master-of-all trades art world today. We had worked with Wendy Trusler on several projects in the past, most notably her Voices at Hand project.

It’s important that an artist’s website capture their aesthetic accurately and unobtrusively. Wendy’s work crosses mediums and is even occasionally culinary, but it is united by a zen-like simplicity and calm that celebrates the natural world. This is what Big Sky Design tried to capture with her site.
