Songwriting – The Conestokers

These are mostly all tracks I wrote the words and music for. The exception — a cover of The Heptones’ huge reggae hit Book of Rules — foreshadows playing with Dub Trinity years later and lends credence to my “separated at birth” theory about country music and reggae music. The Conestokers actually recorded ‘alt_country’ versions of three reggae classics — Book of Rules, The Maytones’ Money Worries and Delroy Wilson’s Rain From The Sky (Rolling Down My Cheek).

I do sing and play guitar on each recording.
